Equine Cryotherapy & Laser Therapy FAQs

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling is easy! You can book online through our website or contact Full Tilt Equine directly to arrange an appointment. We're happy to answer questions, discuss your horse's needs, and help coordinate a convenient time and location for your visit.

Can I schedule multiple horses during one visit?

Absolutely! Full Tilt Equine welcomes appointments for multiple horses at the same location. Whether you have several horses of your own or want to coordinate with others at your barn, we're happy to help arrange a convenient visit.

Contact us to discuss group scheduling and available options.

How should I prepare my horse for an appointment?

Please have your horse reasonably clean, dry, and ready to be handled in a safe, comfortable area with adequate space for the session. A halter and lead rope should be available, and someone familiar with your horse should be present.

If your horse has any injuries, medical conditions, sensitivities, or special handling needs, please let us know before your appointment.

Does my horse need to be held during the session?

Yes. For the safety and comfort of your horse and everyone involved, a responsible handler familiar with your horse should be present throughout the session. Horses should be properly haltered and held in a safe, quiet area with enough room to work comfortably.

Can my horse receive cryotherapy or laser therapy before or after a competition?

Both services may be incorporated into a horse's performance and recovery routine. The appropriate timing depends on the individual horse, the service being used, and the demands of the event.

We recommend discussing your horse's schedule and recovery goals with us ahead of time. Always check your competition organization's rules regarding permitted therapies and any required withdrawal periods.

Do I need approval from my veterinarian?

Veterinary approval may not be necessary for general wellness and performance-support sessions. However, if your horse has an injury, medical condition, unexplained discomfort, or is undergoing veterinary treatment, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before scheduling.

Full Tilt Equine's services are intended to complement—not replace—professional veterinary care. We are happy to work alongside your veterinarian when appropriate.

Can cryotherapy and laser therapy be used together?

Yes! Cryotherapy and laser therapy may be used as complementary wellness and recovery-support services. Each works differently, and combining them may be appropriate depending on your horse's individual needs and recovery goals.

The timing and suitability of each service will be considered on an individual basis. For horses recovering from an injury or receiving veterinary treatment, we recommend consulting your veterinarian first.

What areas does Full Tilt Equine serve, and are there travel fees?

Full Tilt Equine proudly provides mobile equine wellness and recovery services throughout North Phoenix, Scottsdale, Rio Verde, and surrounding Arizona horse communities.

Travel fees may apply depending on your location and distance. We're happy to discuss travel arrangements, multiple-horse appointments, and group barn visits when scheduling.

Do you offer packages or ongoing maintenance programs?

Yes! Full Tilt Equine plans to offer packages and ongoing wellness and performance-support options for clients who would like to incorporate our services into their horse's regular care routine.

Whether you have one horse or several, we're happy to discuss available options that fit your goals and schedule. Contact us for current package details and pricing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Full Tilt Equine accepts payments through Zelle and Venmo. We are also working toward offering credit and debit card payments for added convenience.

Available payment options will be confirmed when scheduling your appointment.

Are there situations when cryotherapy or laser therapy may not be appropriate for my horse?

Yes. Certain medical conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or other health concerns may make these services unsuitable.

Please let us know about any existing conditions, medications, recent procedures, or veterinary recommendations before your appointment. If your horse is experiencing unexplained pain, illness, or injury, a veterinary evaluation should come first.

Your horse's safety and well-being are always our priority.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that plans change, especially when horses are involved! We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible.

We understand that emergencies happen and will do our best to accommodate unexpected circumstances. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your appointment.
